Q1. How much are the amounts payable for each share?

Below is an example of amounts payable on one share (assuming 500 shares total) in a club horse which has been syndicated for 10 million JPY (approximate 95,238 USD):

Investment  20,000 JPY 190 USD (Once-off)
Insurance Premium  640 JPY 6 USD (Annually)
Maintenance Fee  1000 JPY 10 USD (Monthly)
Membership Fee   2000 JPY 19 USD (Monthly)

Q3. Can I visit the farm or training facility?

Visitors are encouraged to inspect horses for syndication at Paca Paca farm. Please make arrangements with us if you would like to visit.

Visits to training stables or other training facilities can be arranged for club members. Please contact us for the available training schedule.

Additional trips to farms and racecourses will be organized for members.

 

Q4. What are the investor’s privileges on race day?

When your horse is declared to run, members will be invited to the winner’s circle decided by a lottery draw. A maximum of 20 members will be permitted to enter the winner’s circle (up to 30 members when it is a Graded race). Members will receive post-race comments from the trainer and the jockey after the race.

 

Q5. How do I follow my horse’s training and racing?

Training reports including videos and photos will be updated every week on Waraukado homepage. The race video will be provided by the JRA (http://japanracing.jp ) soon after the race.

 

Q7. Can I name my horse?

Members will be invited to submit names for their horse/s and subsequently vote on a shortlist of submitted names.

Q8. How many shares are available in a club horse?

Currently, each individual horse syndicate is divided into 500 shares.
